How do I book a shoot?
Send your email address and a brief message in the contact section. Once received, a free consultation will be provided via zoom or in person for the next steps and confirming a date for your session.
How many images will I receive?
Every session is unique, so I don't limit creativity to a strict number. You will receive all of the best fully edited images that meet the quality standards, with minimum gallery sizes outlined in your package information. See Investment Page.
What area's do you serve?
I'm based in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, but happily photograph sessions throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Interior BC, and abroad BOTH domestic and international.
do you require a deposit?
Yes! a non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking. This ensures your date is reserved exclusively for you and allows me to begin planning your session.
What is your turnaround time?
You will receive your 'sneek peeks' of the top picks from your shoot within 1 week. The remainder of your album will be distributed in 3 weeks.
Weddings and events are minimum 3 weeks and maximum 7 weeks.
can you travel for sessions, events & weddings?
Absolutely! I love exploring new places. Whether your story takes us across the Fraser Valley, into a mountain, along the coast, or somewhere farther away, I'd love to hear about it. Travel feels may apply depending on the location.
do you work with a second shooter photographer
Yes! depending on the package and coverage needs, I do have a second shooter available that can be added or included.
can you recommend other vendors?
I'd be happy to! Over the years i've met some incredibly talents publicists, artists, make up and hair artists, videographers, photographers, musicians, and venues to name a few - I'd confidently recommend.
what is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, i'll always try my best to accommodate another available date. Retainers remain non-refundable, while all policies are clearly outlined in your contract.
do you only photograph what is in your portfolio?
Not at all! I love trying new ideas and creative concepts. Even if you don't see something on my website, I have a very large backlog of content and changes are i'll be excited to bring your vision to life.
can we print our images anywhere?
Yes! You'll receive high-resolution digital images with personal printing rights. The gallery delivery site also has a wide array of print options.
what makes escape ordinary different?
For me, photography is about more than just beautiful images - it's about creating an experience you'll genuinely enjoy. I value connection over perfection, emotion over tends, and creating timeless imagery that tells your story honestly. I believe the best photographs happen in the happy medium moments and when you can simply be yourself.
